Install Ocr Software Dell V305
Thank you Nikhil, but I get the following warning when I click on that link: Stop - there might be a problem with the requested link The link you requested has been identified by bitly as being potentially problematic. This could be because a bitly user has reported a problem, a black-list service reported a problem, because the link has been shortened more than once, or because we have detected potentially malicious content. This may be a problem because: •Some URL-shorteners re-use their links, so bitly can't guarantee the validity of this link. •Some URL-shorteners allow their links to be edited, so bitly can't tell where this link will lead you. •Spam and malware is very often propagated by exploiting these loopholes, neither of which bitly allows for.
The link you requested may contain inappropriate content, or even spam or malicious code that could be downloaded to your computer without your consent, or may be a forgery or imitation of another website, designed to trick users into sharing personal or financial information. Bitly suggests that you •Change the original link, and re-shorten with bitly •Close your browser window •Notify the sender of the URL Could you send me a different link, please? Thanks, Sheila.
Dell v305 ocr software download: User’s review: Vuescan supports raw scan files for the digital cameras in the following list. windows 10 compatibility if dell. Jan 01, 2017 dell v305 won't download application list for scan. Listed below then you can use the same CD to install the OCR software. List: Dell 924, Dell 926.
Thanks Nikhil, My computer gave me a warning that the publisher of OCR.zip is unidentifed, but I downloaded it anyway. I extracted the files and identified two applications. There may be more but I haven't figured out how to get Vista to display file extensions, so the exe files are not identifiable at a glance (to me, anyway): 1. OCR/Abbyy /instmsiw 2.OCR/Abbyy/Setup When I click on instmsiw, I get an error which reads 'Wrong OS or OS version for application'. A Program Compatibility Assistant dialog box then appeared offering to 'Reinstall this program using recommended settings' Should I do that, or should I run the setup program? I don't want to run or install any more programs than necessary.
Thanks, Sheila. Rick, It never occurred to me that the problem with my DVD drive could have been caused by updates to Vista. It stopped working more than 3 years ago (within the warranty period, I think).
Actually it's possible it never worked because I can't remember ever using the drive -- my OS and software were installed by Dell. The computer recognizes the drive, but it doesn't recognize a disc in the drive.
When I put a disc in the drive, nothing happens. When I go Computer >DVD drive and click on it, it ejects the disc and tells me to insert a disc. Does this sound like a software problem? I'm reluctant to proceed with the MS 'fix it' program unless I think there is a chance it might fix the DVD drive.
I try to run as few applications as possible because new apps often mess up other things. But it would be great to have a working DVD drive. Thank you Nikhil. So I should proceed with instmsiw, not setup? I guess the setup program is for after the install? (Pardon my ignorance, please.) Regarding the 'upper and lower filters' I would like to do this in either event if it might fix the CD drive. I have a question about the registry instructions.
Morgan Freeman Voice Simulator Program. If I am able to delete the 'upper filters' entry should I also delete the lower filters? Or do I look for the lower filters only if the upper filters are not present?
I'm nervous about editing the registry. Is it reversable if I make a mistake?
Please let me know if I am using the wrong forum. I have a Dell A920 printer and Windows xp home. I recently had a tech reinstall Windows. Now, when I try to scan a document into my computer I get an error message telling me that 'An OCR application is provided for you on your CD in the OCR directory' and telling me to install it before I can to the scan. But I don't have the CD. It is not among the CDs I got from Dell when I bought my computer and printer from them, although their service man said I should have gotten one.
So I went to a Dell website and downloaded the drivers for this printer. But I still get that same message. Should the download of the drivers have included the OCR software or it that something different from the drivers?
In any case, can anyone suggest a remedy for my problem? Thanks, grandpaw.
