Hi Everyone, This box initially seemed to me as a promising one. My motive was to combine my existing cable TV subscription based on DVB-C along with my other DVB-S2 subscription and to take advantage of Sat2IP. But the major challenge: all the Indian operators bind the box ID directly, of without card or Pair the card with box ID. I approached the designing team seeking help in customizing V-8 golden parameters to be same as my existing boxes so that I can maintain my valid subscription with then thru this box. But they simply denied to help.

Some of the other disadvantages I found in the box after updating to latest firmware release: 1. Everytime I restart the box, I need to manually 'connect' from the network setup menu. When I tried using Sat2IP feature using the recommended dlna client softwares like Bubble pnp on android devices, the box reboots. On this problem, their designing team reverted saying it's natural in some boxes, can't do anything about it. The box shows 'unknown card' when I insert my valid conax subscription card. Their IPTV predefined channels listing isn't genuine subscription either. So over half of the channels goes down any time 5.

It showcases inbuild YouTube but when I try to play few of the highlighted content, it shows some error & doesn't play the content either. Overall not at all satisfying experience or communication with them. But it might work if some individual designers are working on the firmware and can offer custom builds like many others offered for dreambox.
