Barbie Nail Printer Software
The package includes a printer with a PC connecting cable, a “nail ink” cartridge, software, and three bottles: a white base coat, a transparent printer medium, and a glossy clear top coat. The printer is easy to set up: You simply insert the CD-ROM into your computer and follow the onscreen prompts to install the software, then plug the printer into an AC outlet. Connect the printer to your computer with the USB cord and follow the hardware wizard to install it. Then click the icon on your desktop, and follow the instructions to align the camera by placing an included Alignment Card into the printer. After that, you just click on Design & Print, and begin!
The software comes loaded with literally thousands of printable nail designs, and here’s a big part of the fun: The designs range from Barbie-related pink/-and-cute patters to some that are really quite arty and cool. So not only will your younger Barbie-loving kids find designs they’ll like, but older kids will as well (not to mention moms). But there’s more: You can alter the include images, changing color and shape. Better still, you can also create printable designs with your own digital images, including photos. It took us some trial and error to get the hang of centering our chosen designs and getting them to print clearly on our nails.
(I’d strongly suggest patient parental help for kids to get started.) Once we did, though, we were thrilled with the results! Some designs worked better for us than others. We didn’t too really well with designs with color backgrounds, for example; too hard to fit them precisely on the nail. (Maybe we’ll get better at that with more practice.) The designs that worked best were smaller images with no backgrounds, just set off by the white polish. We also tried using other nail-polish colors as base coats. The only one that worked somewhat well was silver (see the bottom picture); designs didn’t show up well on a few shades of pink that we tried.

They really looked best on white. Vasco Da Gama Keygen Torrent. The price for the Mattel Doll’d Up Nails Digital Printer is not negligible, and of course, you’ll need to shell out for replacement cartridges and polishes. But the sheer fun of this toy makes it a worthy gift, for the right kid: It surpassed our expectations, and we had a great time testing–and a long queue of women who wanted to use it, too!
